After experimenting with countless development and leadership models and tools, Laurențiu Horubeț developed his own vision about growing people.
After 13 years of experience in the talent & leadership growth business, Laurențiu decided to build this vision further into his own leadership consultancy: Let`s — Talk.
I believe a great leader is a great conversationist. Because that is the most difficult thing to do when leading people: having meaningful, actionable conversations with your people.
Who is Laurențiu Horubeț
Hi, I am Laurențiu. I am genuinely passionate about people and what makes them tick as individuals or as teams. I believe modern management requires a deep understanding of human sciences like psychology and neurolinguistics or anthropology. I am an avid reader in these areas and a longtime practitioner of wing chun. I am also interested and directly involved in change management, organisational transformation, coaching and performance development.
After 13 years experience in talent & leadership development on international markets at some of the most innovative companies in the world, I have developed a unique vision of leadership and management. I am a certified Evolutionary Coach by the Barrett Values Centre in Individual, Team and Leadership Values Assessment and Development and a Transformational Coach (ACC). Trust is the first step towards building a relationship and honesty is the first step towards building trust. Telling the truth isn`t always pleasant but it is vital for today`s leaders. Clients, employees and the public demand more and more honesty. So by employing critical and analytical thinking we unveil things the way they are and set forth a clearer and clearer path.
Being human is the most important thing a leader needs to remember, especially in a world driven by data, results and technology. It is empathy which makes a great leader understand her / his team and get the best of them. Because a leader leads people, not things.
Running the long run
We don’t believe in magic tricks, shortcuts or silver bullets. Our approach seeks profound, real change in our program participants, not shallow improvements. We try to understand the deep causes of behaviours before adressing them. We like the hard way. That is how people really grow.
